Huupi
Huupi (Evelin Zolotko) (b. 1982) received her art education in 2008 at the Pallas Art College and in 2012 at the University of Tartu’s Department of Painting (MA). The author began exhibiting in exhibitions in 2005, immediately receiving the MITMIK special award at the eponymous exhibition at the Tallinn Art Hall. To date, Huupi has had more than a dozen solo exhibitions and numerous participations in group exhibitions both at home and abroad. In 2016, Huupi was awarded the Ado Vabbe Prize for her painting series “Plat Principal”.
She is a member of the Estonian National Art Council and the Tartu Artists’ Union.
