We opened Eleriin Ello’s exhibition “Rippling” at Artrovert gallery on 28 August. The exhibition will be open until 21 September. Below you will find pictures from the opening and also a reflection on the exhibition, which has been on display at Villa Dombrovka in addition to Artrovert this summer.
Eleriin Ello’s “Rippling” in Villa Dombrovka in the summer and now in the Tallinn gallery is almost the same exhibition, but not really. In the historical interior, the exhibition was conditioned by the space itself – the wall chose the image, while on the white walls of the exhibition hall the work itself is amplified – demanding attention and a place for itself. The only thing in common is that art in any case transforms a space – livens it up, matches the mood of the painting, intensifies perceptions, gives the opportunity to enjoy mastery.
