On 23 September, we open Britta Benno and Ida Nõmmerga’s duo exhibition “Embracing the Trace” at Artrovert Gallery.
The exhibition will remain open until 31th of October 2026.
The exhibition brings together new works by the two artists for the first time. Their practices are connected by sensitivity to material, intuitive working methods and an interest in the traces left by materials, techniques, time and people. Britta Benno works primarily with printmaking, drawing and mixed media, while Ida Nõmmerga paints on canvas and directly in the exhibition space, allowing material and chance to guide the development of the work.
