Artrovert Gallery has opened a joint exhibition by Britta Benno and Ida Nõmmerga, centred on a respect for materials, the inspiration they provide, and a quiet resistance to the ideal of the perfect artwork.
Created intuitively by combining different techniques, the works invite viewers to notice details, the dialogue between material and idea, and the traces left by the artist, tools, time, and people.
The exhibition Embracing the Trace (Jälje hõlmas) will remain open at Artrovert Gallery until 31 October.
