Riina Varol
Riina Varol (1979) is an Estonian artist and photographer. Her practice explores sensorial perception, the unconscious, animism and Eastern philosophy. She works across media including site-specific multimedia installations, photography, video, sound, tactility, and scent. Varol studied photography at the Pallas University of Applied Sciences and the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples. She has exhibited in Estonia, Finland, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Lithuania, Ukraine, Australia, and beyond.
Varol is a member of the Estonian Artists’ Association and the Tartu Artists’ Union.
