Matti Vainio
Matti Vainio (b. 1978) holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from Aalto University and lives and works in Estonia, where he is the director of the Viimsi Art School.
Matti’s mediums are drawing, painting, graphic art and performance. He has participated in exhibitions in Finland, Sweden, Germany, Russia and the UK. The space created in Matti’s work explores the phenomena of everyday life and the possibilities of the individual in social conditions, and making art is a good opportunity for him to practice meditative and philosophical thinking.
