Mart Vaarpuu
Mart Vaarpuu (b. 1979) is a ceramist and artist. He graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts with a BA and MA in ceramics. He actively participates in various group exhibitions and is also a member of the Estonian Ceramists’ Union and the Estonian Artists’ Union.
About his creative principles: “When I create, I relieve tension and sharing my creations with others only brings joy. Clay is a soft and malleable material, based on this, I like to test myself, using an engineer’s approach and I always try to leave something of myself in the form, even a bit of humor.”
