Maris Siimer
Maris Siimer (1980) is a visual artist based in Tallinn whose work encompasses illustration and painting. Incorporating hours of walking in nature as part of her practice, she explores how slowness and silence can guide us toward something greater and more sacred than ourselves.
She is a member of the Estonian Painters’ Association and the women artists’ collective Fööniks.
In 2025, the Artrovert gallery hosts a joint exhibition by Tea Lemberpuu and Maris Siimer, “This has always altered me.”
