Luisa Greta Vilo

Luisa Greta Vilo (2000) uses photography as means of expressing emotions and experiences through an intuitive and often subconscious process. Her work transforms abstract feelings into visual stories, using shadows and light to explore deeper truths. Drawn to the human body and nature, she finds inspiration in nature’s timeless cycles, contrasting them with the human race against time and the search for meaning.

Luisa Greta Vilo’s photography delves into themes of vulnerability, connection, and the human need for understanding, inviting viewers to embrace their emotions and find a sense of belonging. She emphasizes the deep bond between humans and nature, aiming to highlight the interconnectedness between the two in their work.

A graduate of Pallas University of Applied Sciences in 2023 with a major in photography, Luisa Greta Vilo began exhibiting her work in 2020. She have since held four solo exhibitions and participated in multiple group shows, receiving recognition from Pallas with a field scholarship.
