Ludmilla Siim
Ludmilla Siim (1938) is an Estonian–Finnish painter educated in Estonia and active in the art scene since the 1960s. After graduating from the Estonian State Art Institute, she worked as an art teacher and later as a freelance artist, gaining recognition through exhibitions in Estonia and internationally. Since 1977, she has lived in Finland, and her Finnish-period work is less familiar to Estonian audiences. Siim has received several major art awards, including the Kristjan Raud and Konrad Mägi Prizes.
