Lisette Lepik
Lisette Lepik (1999) has graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts in painting (2022) and has furthered her studies in installation at the Icelandic Academy of Arts (2019). She focuses on the use of painting and painting-installation, bringing painting from canvas to space and using different materials. Her work focuses on the representation of colour and the body and the emotions, sexuality and experiences associated with it.
Lepik has participated in group exhibitions in Estonia, Iceland, Austria and Lithuania, and has organised solo exhibitions, such as ‘Eve’s Garden’ (2022) in Tallinn. In 2024 she had a duo exhibition with Brenda Purtsaku. He has been a finalist for the Young Painter Prize and has been teaching composition and painting at the Estonian Academy of Arts since 2023.
