Kristen Rästas
Born in 1992, Kristen Rästas is an artist working in painting, video, virtual reality, and mixed-media installations. His recent work is inspired by fantastical landscape motifs, exploring themes such as modern alienation and escapist parallel realities.
Rästas earned his BA and MA in Fine Arts from EKA in 2015 and 2019, respectively, and has also studied abroad. Since 2012, he has exhibited in Estonia, Germany, Belgium, Lithuania, and Iceland. He is one of the artists behind the pseudonym Robin Ellis Meta and a co-founder of the online exhibition platform post-gallery.online.
