Kristel Schwede

Kristel Schwede (1963) is an artist, cultural journalist, publisher of the photo magazine Positiiv, and gallerist-curator of Positiiv Gallery. Her artistic practice focuses on human-made environments, creative processes, and the grey areas of collaborative creation, while as a curator she is interested in the emotional journeys that meaningful artworks or exhibitions can evoke in viewers. Since 2019, she has participated in 13 solo and 12 group exhibitions, and her works are held in private collections in Estonia, Germany, and France.
