Igor Balašov

Igor Balašov (b. 1940) is an artist and designer whose work is equally important as both unique art and product design. He graduated from the State Institute of Arts in 1965. His graduation work was the well-known decorative sculpture “Telesilm” for the facade of the TV House on Gonsiori street, Tallinn.

He has worked both as an artist at the Tallinn Jewelry Factory and as the chief artist at the Norma toys production team.

At the same time, he has also been active as a creator of unique works on the exhibition scene. His unique work includes panels, decorative forms, jewelry, and medals.
