Aleksandr Valetto
Aleksandr Valetto (1996) is a sculptor and multimedia artist based in Tallinn, Estonia. His work critically examines the conventions of object-making within the context of the contemporary technological epoch. Utilizing sculpture, installation, and conceptual techniques, he explores the future of material aesthetics by blending tradition and challenging established norms and codes.
Valetto works with a wide range of materials, from stone, glass, and plastic to digital and immaterial forms. His projects often cross disciplinary boundaries, aiming to create genuine synergy and new meanings. His works have been featured in various group exhibitions in Estonia and internationally, as well as in public spaces.
