Marita Liivak

Marita Liivak (b. 1994) is an Estonian painter whose work is deeply connected to personal experiences and emotional landscapes. In recent years, Liivak’s work has expanded to explore the intersections of personal and public space. She focuses on urbanism and how cities influence our collective experiences, analyzing the tensions between the individual and the environment.

Liivak studied painting at the Tartu College of Art Pallas (BA, 2017) and furthered her skills in Italy, at the Accademia di Belle Arti, Catania (2014-2015).

She actively participates in exhibitions and is a skilled illustrator. Her works are in private collections in both Estonia and France.
